What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order allows you to purchase an item before it is officially released or back in stock. At Auric Hobby, we offer pre-orders on select hobby boxes, Pokémon products, Panini releases, and Prizm sets so you can secure your items ahead of release day.

Payment

Pre-orders are charged in full at the time of purchase. By placing a pre-order, you authorize Auric Hobby to collect full payment immediately via your selected payment method (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).

This ensures your spot is reserved and your item is allocated to you as soon as stock arrives.

Estimated Release Dates

Estimated release dates displayed on pre-order product pages are provided by our distributors and manufacturers. These dates are estimates only and are subject to change without notice due to:

Manufacturer or distributor delays
Supply chain disruptions
Customs or import delays (for international shipments)

Auric Hobby is not responsible for release date changes made by manufacturers or distributors. We will communicate any significant delays to you by email as soon as we are informed.

Processing & Shipping

Pre-order items follow the same processing and shipping policy as in-stock items:

Processing Time: 1–3 business days from the date the item becomes available
Shipping Time: 3–7 business days (domestic) / 7–21 business days (international)
Shipping Cost: Free for all US orders. International rates calculated at checkout.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your pre-order has been dispatched.

Order Combinations

If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-order items, please be aware:

By default, your entire order will be held and shipped together once all pre-order items are available
If you would like your in-stock items shipped immediately, please contact us at support@aurichobby.com right after placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate a split shipment

Cancellations

You may cancel your pre-order at any time before the item ships by contacting us at support@aurichobby.com with your order number.

Cancellations requested before shipment will receive a full refund to the original payment method within 10 business days
Once a pre-order has shipped, our standard Refund Policy applies and the order can no longer be cancelled

Refunds on Pre-Orders

If a pre-order item becomes permanently unavailable or is cancelled by the manufacturer, Auric Hobby will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 10 business days of confirmation.

For all other refund scenarios, our standard Refund Policy applies — pre-order items are treated the same as in-stock items once shipped.

Price Changes

In the rare event that a product’s price changes between the time you placed your pre-order and its release date:

If the price decreases, we will honor the lower price and refund you the difference
If the price increases, you will never be charged more than what you paid at the time of your pre-order
